Botanical Illustration

The inspiration for this project came through learning about the dying art of botanical illustration. In the times of Darwin - pre photography - they were indispensable for capturing more than simply the written word during a journey. Illustrators traveled around the globe. I became enamored with this concept and determined to put my spin on things.
